I grew up in Huntington Beach, California and lived with my parents my entire life until I turned 27 and moved all the way across the world to Sydney to be with my Aussie pilot boyfriend.
I never had a roommate, never moved away to college, never paid a gas or electricity bill… ever… so logically the next step was to jump right into living with a boy on the other side of the world, right? Luckily, it all worked out and we were married in August, 2010.
I have a Masters Degree in clinical psychology and have dabbled in various jobs over the years including counseling/therapy, project and account management, web and software development and social media. I now have an awesome job as a research manager in a market research and technology company and I know this is where I belong.
I miss my family and friends more than you can imagine. My niece and nephews are my favorite little people in the whole world. I love wine and probably drink too much of it. Organising makes me REALLY happy. No one can pronounce my name (it’s Elsha by the way). I love traveling and I’ve been to every continent except Antarctica. I’m a master packer and can fit anything into a suitcase including a Kitchenaid mixer, a food processor and 30 glass jars (yes, I once packed 30 glass jars in a suitcase). I make a mean guacamole and during the summer I can be found sipping sangria in the warm Australian sun.

Liking the new look of the blog!
They sell Diet and normal Dr Pepper down the road from us, and the cafe where I work sells Cherry Coke and Dr Pepper.
Civic Video down here also sells Reeses Pieces and Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream.
It’s definitely around!
Thanks Mike! Yep they have some of that stuff at the road across the road as well. Now if I just get a can for under $3.50 and under $12 for a pint of ice cream, I’ll be happy!
