Hey Elsja!
Ya I totally know what you mean! Everytime I saw a wreath or some holly I'd do a double-take cause it looked so out of place. I came home to Canada for the holidays but next year I'll be staying in Australia with my boyfriend and his family so I'm going to have to psych myself up for a hot green tropical Christmas!

Thanks Jayme!!

Juli- seriously, I've thought the same thing. My mom got me these warm fuzzy Christmas socks when I was there in November and it's just too hot here right now to wear warm fuzzy socks. But I haven't shopped enough lately to know if they have summery Christmas theme clothes.

How strange that must be! So you know how the norm around here right now at all the stores is xmas themed flannel pajama sets and warm winter sweaters, etc.? Do they have like xmas themed bikinis and tank tops at all the stores in Australia right now? Or is that just the dumbest question ever? Haha. Just crossed my mind

I so enjoy reading your blog Elsja! I do not know what I would do if it were HOT like that around Christmas. Crazy! So do all Christmas songs that talk about snow and cold weather just not apply to Australia? Just a concept I can't grasp!

As far as the Christmas Traditions... I'm not good. We do the pajamas on Christmas Eve (although my hubs isn't in to cute jammies) and stockings. We also like to drive around and look at Christmas lights. Sorry I can't be more help. Good luck!
