Saturday night we went to the wedding of our friends Andrew and Mel. It was a beautiful ceremony and the reception was amazing. The food and service were to die for (oh, did I mention I actually ate something of substance? I’ll talk about that in my next blog). The reception was held at Sergeant’s Mess in Chowder Bay. The location was perfect for Andrew and I since it’s only about 5 minutes from our place. Drinks were in abundance and you can’t go wrong with canape style desserts.

But once it was all over I realised something… we have no more weddings to go to. I think for the last five years there has always been at least one wedding to look forward to. But that was the last one. What do we do now? We’re not old enough to stop going to weddings, are we? To all my friends who are still just dating… get cracking and bust out those rings. I need something to look forward to.

Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. McKenzie! For more photos of the festivities click here.
